Raphael Sueder is an artist from Germany.
He studied Fine Arts at Ludwig Maximilian University Munich and works currently in his studio in Munich.
Raphael's work deals with light and shadow contrasts, perspective, natural phenomena and from nature inspired color combinations. His work reflects interactions of social life. It also deals with organic living, and the all-encompassing natural aesthetics.
Raphaels paintings are inspired by nature and his work as a cinematographer (DOP) on commercials, documentaries and passion projects internationally. His art is about the freezing of moving compositions he sees in his daily environments.
The factor of time is an important asset to his work.
Accordingly to his background in graffiti, mural paintings, video art and live performance art, full body movement is an important factor of his painting process.
The painting process plays an important role to his work. Through holistic body movement, his intention is to convey emotions and dynamics that cannot be expressed verbally. Using various materials and tools, he creates a range of expressions aimed at moving the viewer.
